Welcome to Viki, an agentic home-management platform operated by Viki (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Viki at vikihome.ai or app.vikihome.ai (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”).
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to all of the Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any modification to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. Together, the Terms and the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and Viki regarding the Service.
If you are using Viki on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organisation.
Viki is a subscription-based SaaS platform that turns your home into an intelligently managed environment. The Service currently includes:
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time, subject to the notice provisions in Section 11.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
To use Viki you must register for an account by providing a valid email address and a password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. Accounts are personal and may not be shared with or transferred to another person without our prior written consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@vikihome.ai if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your credentials.
Each paid subscription covers a single home (physical property). If you manage multiple homes, a separate subscription is required for each.
Viki is offered at $30 USD per month per home. Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ advance notice (see Section 11).
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your sign-up date. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from app.vikihome.ai/plan in a web browser, or by writing to support@vikihome.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to the Service until that date. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
From time to time we may offer free trial periods or promotional pricing. Any such offer will be subject to the specific terms stated at the time of the offer, and will revert to standard pricing at the end of the trial or promotional period unless you cancel.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend or downgrade access to the Service until payment is successfully processed. Prolonged non-payment may result in account termination in accordance with Section 10.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account at our sole discretion.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms to deliver its features. When you connect such services, their own terms of service and privacy policies apply in addition to these Terms:
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. Connecting a third-party service is always optional and initiated by you.
Important. Viki sends emails using your own connected email account (Gmail or Outlook). Emails appear to recipients as coming from you, not from Viki. You are responsible for the content and recipients of any email sent through the Service.
When you (or an automation rule you have personally configured) instruct the AI butler to send an email, Viki composes the message and delivers it via the Gmail API or Microsoft Graph API using the OAuth token associated with your connected account. Viki will never send an email without an explicit instruction or an automation rule that you have set up.
You are solely responsible for:
You may not use the email-sending feature to send unsolicited bulk email (spam), phishing messages, misleading content, or any communication that violates applicable law or the terms of your email provider.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, and the “Viki” name and logo, is owned by Viki and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of applicable fees, Viki grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial home-management purposes.
You retain ownership of any data, configurations, and content you upload to or create through the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service you grant Viki a limited licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to the extent necessary to operate and improve the Service. We will not use Your Content for any other purpose.
If you provide suggestions, bug reports, or ideas about the Service (“Feedback”), you grant Viki a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
The AI butler makes decisions based on instructions you provide and data from connected devices. While we strive for accuracy, Viki’s AI outputs are not infallible. You should always verify critical home-management actions (e.g. security settings, device control) independently. Viki is not liable for any damage to property, safety incidents, or other harm arising from AI-generated actions you have authorised.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VIKI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $30 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Viki and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) Your Content; or (c) emails sent through the Service at your direction.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Cancellation of your subscription is described in Section 4.3.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, including the Acceptable Use policy in Section 5. In cases of severe or repeated violations we may terminate immediately without refund.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections 8, 9, 12, and any accrued payment obligations survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, applicable law, or our business practices. When we make material changes we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. For non-material changes (corrections, clarifications), the revised Terms take effect immediately upon posting.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
